After working with a very large bank during the pre-approval process, I engaged with Kendra at Cardinal to make sure I was getting the best rate possible. Cardinal came up with an interest rate and terms that no other banks were able to match. I was admittedly skeptical with the almost 'too good to be true' scenario, but Kendra took the time to talk me through the options and helped assure me that this was the best deal on the table. Because of this I switched lenders (cancelled previously scheduled appraisal) and moved forward with Cardinal Financial. At this point we were a little behind schedule and I had a tight deadline for closing, as we had already sublet our apartment. Kendra and her team worked incredibly fast to get me through underwriting and to move the loan application process along without issue. Given the tight timeline there was a good deal of stress involved, but Kendra kept me updated regularly to make sure nothing was held up. We ended up closing on time and the associated costs were nearly identical to what she had originally projected.
