We had a really great experience working with Luis to buy our first home. As first-time homebuyers, we had a lot of questions and didn’t always know what to expect, but Luis was always patient and took the time to explain everything clearly. He was very helpful throughout the entire loan process and always made himself available when we needed him. He kept us updated, answered all of our questions, and made sure everything stayed on track. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We are very thankful for all of his help and would definitely recommend Luis to anyone looking to buy a home.

I represented the seller in this transaction, and Lucas served as the buyer’s lender. From the start, he was upfront, responsive, and extremely communicative. We went under contract right before Christmas, and Lucas proactively picked up the phone to walk everyone through the closing timeline and set clear expectations around potential holiday delays due to a skeleton crew. Despite that, he got it done and we closed on time. You don’t often see loan officers go out of their way to personally communicate with all parties involved to keep everyone informed. That level of transparency brings real peace of mind and makes for a smooth, professional transaction. Highly recommend.

We had been thinking of doing a refi as interest rates were dropping and equity in the property was rising. Our original mortgage was with New American Funding, I’d forgotten they said they would contact us after 2yrs to see if they could be of service, which they did. Met with Nick at their Poulsbo office went home with a rate we really liked. Then did some shopping around and found even better offers online. Well after 3 weeks of one unfulfilled promise after another online, we went back to Nick and NAF. Although our time on the offer had expired they honored it. The entire process fast and efficient, NAF made no promises they couldn’t fulfill. We would not hesitate to use them again if needed and recommend them for your mortgage needs. ALOHA

I’m skeptical by nature and this was my first home buying experience. We interviewed three realtors and four lenders for our purchase. All four lenders shared their own quotes with wildly different rates. The fees were all over the board in both amounts and how they were labeled, making comparison no easy task. Sunshine quickly rose to our top choice by taking the time to comb through quotes line by line and explained in detail how she could put together a comprehensively better rate package. Beyond this, she ended up being, by far, the most readily available and most valuable asset in the homebuying experience. She fielded dozens of calls over weeks, giving detailed explanations, practical reassurance, and fixing problems as they arose. She helped identify the best moves for financial negotiations that arguably saved us thousands. She communicated with our realtor when amendments to the buyer’s contract were needed. She knows what she’s doing and she’s good at it. I cannot recommend Sunshine enough, especially for a first-time home buyer. I thought I was prepared enough going in, but in hindsight I don’t know how I would have kept a level head without her.

Jose was a pleasure to work with and made the entire process seamless. I’d highly recommend working with him and his team if you’re in the home buying market.
