Darryl got us into our first investment property, a duplex here in Colorado Springs, and I can't recommend him enough. I'm a travel nurse so our income is tricky. Different contracts, different states, stipends, gaps between assignments. Steady money, it just doesn't look normal on paper. Other lenders we talked to were pretty vague about whether it would work. Darryl actually dug into it. What I appreciated most is that he never pretended to have every answer up front. If something came up he wasn't sure about, he'd say so and then go find out and come back with a real answer. He also knew what underwriting was going to ask for before they asked, which saved us a lot of headache. He's a great explainer too. I asked him the same questions more than once. He shopped options for us instead of handing over the first thing available, and he was easy to reach the whole time. If your income is complicated, talk to Darryl before you assume it won't work. He'll actually look at it.
