It was not so much Shane's fault but he did contribute to the headaches and hoops we had to jump through. The process never went smoothly and caused more stress than excitement for our new home. Lots of poor communication.

appraisal company used by American funding sucks!!! and simply had a sellers to close amount due at the end could not get anybody able to explain where it came from or what it was due for!

Pouyan was great for the most part, there were a few communication errors but we were able to work past them. I think our main issue was the underwriter and processor that this company uses. Their communication and professionalism was horrible. We had a terrible experience. It was extremely hard to get a hold of them other then through email and sometimes not hear back for days. Pouyan made himself available & was fighting for our loan the best he could but his team made everything difficult.

overall process was rather cumbersome. a lot of miscommunication and lack of communication regarding specifics of the loan. Timeline was unnecessarily pushed back. Same paperwork had to be filled out multiple times. If they had just paid attention to some of the minor details this could have gone much smoother.

I thought things were going great at the start. Drew seemed really on top of the transaction and was quick to call me back. Near the end I had an outstanding question around dropping the rate, and Drew neglected to call me back with an answer. A return call stating that the rate change wouldn't have been possible would have been better than being ignored. I had went from being really happy with my experience to not pleased.
