Jon sent very mixed signals when we were close to closing. He told me that we wouldn't be able to close on time, but then we received the clear-to-close from the processing team. The processing team for Jon was terrible as well, clearing an appraisal but then asking for a structural report after approving the appraisal. The worst experience was finding out the processor needed additional documentation 1 HOUR before closing, and leaving the closing table without the funding approval to pay the sellers.

Communication. rate was locked in by LO and never discussed. Points were locked in an quoted wrong and never discussed. processing docs were requested an excessive amount of times and way to close to closing. Poor communication. lied to by lo at closing about servicing and keeping loan

There has been very little communication from Jason Lambert or Zoe Cruz either one since the closing papers were signed. There's been no explanation as to the next steps how long it would take to fund the money etc etc. After all the back and forth that it took with the underwriters and the unnecessary steps they required I am very unlikely to recommend new American funding to anybody. Yes I have received a loan through your company but no I am not at all happy with the way things went and the way things are going. It is now Sunday July 6th and I have still yet to hear from Zoe or Jason either one about what's going on and when everything will be paid. So currently I'm receiving letters that my house insurance is going to be canceled because your company has my policy up in an escrow and has yet to have paid it. Someone decided to give these people a date of when they would be paid by and then did not stand by it and it definitely was not me. So the simple fact that I am over a week past My signing Day still haven't received any instruction about what's going on still haven't received any money still haven't seen any of my bills paid but yet this company expects me to make my first payment August 1st is beyond ridiculous! I will need somebody to contact me ASAP because the earliest I will allow any payment to be taken from your company is on the 3rd of every month. I have tried messaging I have tried talking to Zoe I have tried calling customer service to get all this set up so it would not be drawn until August the 3rd. I really feel like you all are very unfair in your practices and use legal loopholes to do the things you do. Everything I have experienced and gone through with this company definitely makes you unrecommendable.

Really bad communication, my client wanted to pull the deal just because she no longer wanted to work with him. Failed to let her know she needed to have an additional $2,700 in reserves, just very unprofessional and stressful

Quick turnaround but don’t get fooled with rates given at pre approval. Agreed rates swayed by closing time but we had to close quick n they didn’t negotiate on the int rate at all . Client service wasnt that great either. Too many lil things needed follow-ups . Any ask once we were locked in was treated in the strangest manner as if a favor was being done to us.

There were a few times in the transaction where both I and the Buyer reached out and didn't hear anything back. This was frustrating and also Buyer was reaching out to me the night before closing as she was uncertain what to bring to closing. Buyer complained that she was being asked to verify child support in the last few days before closing and felt that this was a rush, and should have been requested much earlier in the transaction.

I represented my client throughout this transaction, and each time I called, I was met with a different point of contact, which made consistent communication challenging. I also believe the Final Closing Disclosure provided to my client should have reflected the actual final numbers. Instead, the total increased by approximately $1,800 just one day before closing without any direct communication to me as the agent. This lack of transparency felt intentional and left both my client and me blindsided. We had previously heard concerns about hidden fees with NAF, and unfortunately, this experience confirmed those warnings firsthand.
