Overall the transaction went smoothly but I felt communcation was slow, especially on the weekends. I do believe this is a product of time zone difference. When communicating with Jordan he was excellent, no actual complaints with him. This is also the reason I would not refer New American Funding, the time zone difference is a real issue for us. So it's not anything you can actually fix. Jordan was great and I want to make that clear.

Being a first time home buyer, to just take more time to explain things someone buying a home the first time should know, not just the questions asked. All my questions were answered clearly and accurately, although many things came up later that did not come to mind to ask about, so I had no clue about them. Those are some things that would have been nice to know.

I don’t think an email should be sent to a customer stating we are ready for closure until you have everything necessary done to be really ready for closure. This was a moment in my life that I thought I would never achieve and this experience felt like an emotional roller coaster Everytime I was told we are ready for closure then asked for something else at the last moment or something was pending from the appraisal aspect.

I don't recall speaking but once to Edgar. The communication was more with my client and Edgar than myself. Which all went smooth for closing. I would suggest that lender be more communicative with their agents and get them involve in the constant communication with their clients. -Esther

Lack of professionalism, communication, inability or unwillingness to explain to customer, she herself did not seem like she understood the process and was all over the place. She was friendly but this process was much more challenging than it needed to be.

We felt that things were not taken care of in a timely manner. There were last minute problems that should have been taken care of ahead of time . We were then promise signing times that didn’t happen as we were told . Which made the transition very stressful and inconvenient. I understand that not all was in your control but then you shouldn’t have committed to certain times .
