The accuracy in the loan quote was miscalculated on her part. From that point we weren't told what we did qualify for. We only were notified we didnt qualify for a home at a certain price point. It would have been courteous to find out what we do qualify for and if we would be able to pay the difference in price if a home exceeded that amount. She then became rude and we felt rushed based off an error she made and was forced into a timeframe that was flexible.

Communication! I had to reach out to Mr. Walker any time an update was given. This loan took over seven months to process and while i do understand some of it was not in the control of New American Funding it was well within Mr. Walkers control to keep me informed which he did NOT. I had no idea there were issues getting someone to appraise my home. An appraiser was at my home for three hours and a month later having still heard nothing I once again reached out to Mr. Walker who then informed me there was a problem. No word from anyone for another month and then an appraiser contacted me to let me know he would be coming out. Nothing still from Mr. Walker after that and it was yet another month until i heard anything regarding my loan. I realize yall are busy but those of us trying to get things done are anxious to get the process completed and left in the dark regarding what is going on and not knowing if I should have moved on to another company or not, I was assured this would take 90 days max and it went from February through October with little communication from your company.

Sean was fantastic at the beginning! But after the loan process started, it was pulling teeth to get anyone to answer questions. Also, we continued to get requests to re-sign documents and even a couple of last-minute documents that had to be back-dated. Sean started us out great, but it went downhill quickly.

Communication with Marcell was NON-EXISTENT. We signed our papers for refinancing our home on June 28. We closed the loan on September 27. Three months!! All documents and the appraisal were completed by July 8. We went weeks without communication and when asking about the status, Marcell kept putting us off. He could never provide a reason for why it was taking 8 more weeks to complete. When I complained to Marcell about the lack of communication, he committed to a weekly phone call to update me on the status, but that never happened. We started this transaction so we could meet other goals (replace A/C and pay down solar loan) but could NOT accomplish the second goal because of the delay. I've had real estate transactions for 40 years and this has been my worst experience ever.

It took way longer than it ever needed to to get going with the process. Several but actually. We had to sit in the same document to Docs times because of their lack of moving forward. and all the communication that we received we had to initiate to get things moving. We felt like the process was. Professional

Having a clear and honest communication. Hold the deal you’ve agreed to with person. m The closing was very frustrating for me as a first time home buyer. At the end Kim and her team wouldn’t even respond to my emails.

He was responding to me till I signed the documents and after that there is no response though I received emails asking for feedback. I waited for 10 days without submitting it giving him time to respond.

The loan officer treated me badly, I was literally yelled at at one point in one of the conversation with regards to the status of my refinance. Very unprofessional. my payoffs were not updated before checks were cut which resulted in both my trucks and credit cards not being paid in a timely manner which cost me money in late fees , fax charges, and surcharges to fix which took almost an additional month the straighten out. The only thing that was a pleasant experience was ryan’s Professionalism and handling the problem quickly once I brought it to his attention and the notary which was very nice.
