Once my loan was passed on to the loan processor, I had to reach out every time for a follow-up on communications. Every attempt to contact the loan processor was usually unsuccessful, with every e-mail I sent to her resulting in an out-of-office response stating she would not be in until 11:30 am EST. Although her email signature states her office hours are to be 9:30 am - 5:30 pm EST. Attempts that were made, by me and my private lender, to facilitate the expediency of my loan application to be processed were derailed as a result of a lack of proper communication of needed documents and the necessary route my private lender (an elderly woman with no electronic means other than a landline phone) needed to handle her end of the application, were not explained correctly. I was even met with suspicion during my application process about my application and assistance to my private lender, as I had "a vested interest". However 1 simple phone call to my private lender (that could have occured at any point earlier in this process) cleared up the extensive need of how she could return the documents to NAF in a timely manner. I came prepared with every piece of documentation necessary to accomplish this loan much faster than how things actually went. I'm very disappointed with the way things ended.
