The communication was poor. Never really new what was going on and why certain info was needed. Our situation was a little unique and i felt left out of the process. Could have had more contact , I am in customer service so I may be more critical.

Several times, information was requested that had already been sent days and weeks earlier. We requested to be provided where to send our down payment weeks before the closing date. Never received this information in a timely manner. Better communication during the final process of the closing would have caused less anxiety. Documents were not received to sign on the appointed day. Additional delays meant receiving keys a day late.

Communication was terrible. It took almost 4 months for this to close and most of it was due to me following up. Closed a full month later than estimated, and I think it's because I was forgotten about.

This rating is because of the lack of professionalism we received, the lack of communication from New American Funding, and because our purchase closing date was delayed by four days only due to mistakes and oversights by the NAF team. Anytime we called anyone at NAF - the LO, Sales Manager, LO Assistants, we received voicemails, and not one of our calls was ever returned. The closing delay was costly because we were forced to reschedule deliveries and had to stay at a hotel for an extra week.

I did not skip a payment BECAUSE at closing l had to pay $2200 so that's not skipping a payment! I was very upset WITH that and I'm working on refinancing again with another company.
