Better communication about the loan process and what was expected of us related to the requirements to complete the process prior to closing. Better and more realistic closing date considering the lag in processing of the paper work at the end.

Poor communication and the last couple weeks of the transaction was a disaster. We were told we had the clear to close twice and then told underwriting need more items. It was very frustrating for all parties involved.

The processor was not clear about what was needed, causing confusion. For disclosures, she sent an email on a Saturday noting she must get signatures that day to our work emails. Our closing was delayed because she did not get disclosures in time - if she had called or texted, we could have gotten it done without issue. In addition, it is unlikely our file was ready to close at that time anyhow, because she was having issues updating credit, which was very prolonged. Poor communication overall.

I applied for this loan on 9/2/2020. Sam had everything he needed within 24 hours; two years personal tax returns, two years business tax returns, K-1’s, paystubs, two years’ W-2’s, asset statements, insurance for three properties, tax information for three properties, ID and HOA information. Still, it took 9 weeks to get this loan closed. There was no communication from Sam, unless I initiated it. The processor finally contacted me on 10/17 and asked for information I had already provided.

I had a refinance on my existing home, no cash out. The communication in the beginning was good. All the information that was requested I submitted to her team the same day or the next. I would sometimes get duplicate requests from team members for info I’d already submitted to another person. I had family members , friends, and even neighbors who were doing their own financing through other avenues and my refi took twice as long as anyone else in Missouri that I spoke too.

Communication was extremely lacking, the worst we have experienced when going through something like refinancing. Emails would receive no replies until we reached out for the status, and only then would we be told to resubmit or that they didn’t receive the correct things. No one seemed to communicate with each other on their end either, and multiple people would ask us for the same stuff or ask the same questions. It just became really frustrating and we almost decided to forgo the whole thing
