The level of communication was not good. She spoke in lender terms and acronyms and didn't clarify herself without being asked. Follow up and follow through was lacking which could have been avoided if emails were opened when received and information was requested in a timely manner. My client was asked to sign documents without numbers being correct. I requested numbers repeatedly. The numbers were still off and my clients had to come up with an add'l $850+ at the closing table.

Initially the communication regarding the loan process was great. Then it hit a standstill and I had to follow up on several occasions to understand where we were at in the process, when the loan was to fund, and when the cash out would be submitted to me. I also had to inquire about when will I receive information on how to pay my mortgage. I was advised that I would receive an email but have not yet received one. Having a clear outline of what to expect would be super beneficial as well as continued check ins and follow ups.

This process took a total of almost 6 six weeks for what I was told was a simple refi. Sheryl tried to get things right but once the file moved to Lekeshia the entire process went wrong. From the loan approval being delayed more paperwork needing submitted because statements where old, to me having to unfreeze my credit again so new reports could be pulled, to a closing being scheduled but then cancelled to a closer showing up and me then needing to pay for closing

The goal we had set aside to achieve was made , being a lower interest rate & cheaper mortgage during our refinance . However we were misinformed with some misleading information during the process .We were told that we would not have to bring any money to the closing the table ,and we would be getting money back then the numbers changed drastically And we end up having to pay at closing . Second we was told we would not have to pay a mortgage until a certain month & that turn out be untrue.

Our refinance took 4 months- totally unnecessary as our previous home loan was also done with NAF. The reasons for the extensions seemed avoidable and we were constantly submitting updated paperwork since the months were dragging by. Overall, Ryan empathetic toward our frustrations and seemed to be working diligently, but we were very dissatisfied with the overall duration and inconsistencies of rationales as to why our loan was not approved in a timely manner. Great rate, though!
