Have some urgency And not lax when it comes to peoples livelihoods. Not the best experience at all. Have purchased a home before & they act as if you’re supposed to hound them for simple things to to get done in a timely manner. Dishonest LO, no real sense of urgency. Things got done within a later time frame but it took a lot of leg work

Matthew was very pushy and demanding. Despite asking numerous times to see what the payments would be like he wouldn't and just kept telling me that the refinancing 20 year loan was a better deal than a 30 year loan. I wanted to make my payments less since I decided to go to school full-time. I spoke with the person who I originally got my mortgage and he said don't let them switch you because you can never go back to a 30 year, but he refused to show me. Matthew also would call me in the middle of the day, while I was working and couldn't talk, aggressively calling me 3 times back to back. On the day of my signing he called me to tell at me to sign the paperwork online like I'm an idiot. No, I don't like Matthew Hoffman and I did not enjoy our working relationship and hope I never have to work with him again.

I recently had a very disappointing experience with New American Funding. Throughout the mortgage process, I encountered several issues that made the experience stressful and frustrating. Firstly, I was provided with inaccurate information, which caused unnecessary delays and confusion. Additionally, there were unwarranted inquiries into my bank account and employment status, which felt intrusive and unprofessional. Malcolm Arrington, who was initially handling my account, informed me that Danielle Taylor, the head person, would be taking over. He provided me with her contact number (949-267-1424), but despite multiple attempts to reach her, she never answered or returned my calls. Moreover, Malcolm’s attitude became increasingly short and unhelpful. He failed to communicate with me when I was finally cleared to close on the home, leaving me to navigate the final steps on my own. His lack of follow-through and support was extremely disappointing. Based on my experience, I would not recommend New American Funding to anyone. The lack of professionalism and poor customer service made an already challenging process even more difficult.

We lost out on the rate decrease timeframe. Our initial rate we were quoted wasn’t locked, so by the time we finally closed the rate had jumped so much. The title company and our realtor were also very displeased with the communication from the entire NAF team. It was a stressful experience overall. We wouldn’t refer anyone to use this company. James is personable, which sold us initially. But he over promised and under delivered. Very disappointed.

Communication was not there.. promises were not kept like on interest rate. I should not be punished if rules changed when i was allready in a agreement. Was not happy with process at all. To much stress during process wasn't easy
