New American and Xavier provided an excellent product and overall pretty good service. Xavier was very knowledgeable and able to navigate complexities well. Some of the drawbacks were probably due to the pandemic and the high demand for refinancing, but I definitely had to prod the process a few times with emails for status. The loan took 3 months to close, and at the end was held up 3 additional weeks because of an oversight by New American/Xavier to obtain other docs. Just stay engaged.

The process for the refinance was very smooth, the portal was easy to electronically sign and submit documents. My refi closed in the time originally scheduled. No issues despite the current state of the economy with getting everything done. Good customer service and expectations were provided.
