New American Funding Reviews
Review by Thomas E Dougherty for Robert Martinson

My experience with Robert personally was great, as was the software used to collect signatures and process documents. My issue was that the refinance just took way to long. Coworkers that refinanced through other organizations at the same time got theirs done in 2-3 weeks. Mine took months.

Everything was timely, we received information that would not reflect what we had discussed and that was confusing to us.

Devin was great. If I had to do it over again I would have gone with a local lender. It has also been 16 years since my last mortgage experience and I think things have changed. There is an intensity and level of scrutiny with the big box experience that I think may not be present with a local bank and may be more like my previous three lending experiences. I think it is the system more than the institution that leads me to mark “ok.”

More communication once you ran into issues as I had to keep asking the buyer what the issues were
Review by Brian F Merry II for Megan McDermott
Completed transaction on September 6, 2024
Megan was wonderful! However, our experience with Tracy was not so wonder. Poor to be exact. Communication with Megan was so easy and pleasant, yet when it came down to it, communication with Tracey, (including our Title Company and Realtor) was nearly non-existent. Anything Tracey needed, was simply duplicates of things that had been sent before. Additionally, Tracey "forgot" about a required form that needed to be signed and was required for closing and didn't remember until the night before closing (she had date and time 4 weeks before closing). So, all-in-all, we got our home, but it was not without great difficulty. I cannot say enough about Megan though, she was amazing and apologized for Tracey and her team more than she ever should have had too.
