We were kept in the loop about all of the relevant due dates and documentation required. There were some repetitive requests that caused some confusion and irritation, but this was a minor glitch in an otherwise excellent process.

Being first time home buyers, going through what was a pretty complicated loan process, Abby and her team were incredibly accommodating. They helped walk us through the various checkpoints throughout the process and connected us with great category experts who focused on FHA loans. I also felt that throughout the whole experience I knew that I was dealing with honest individuals with a high level of integrity and was getting the best possible loan for my fiance and me.

My recent journey in applying for a mortgage loan was a rollercoaster of emotions, marked by two distinct halves. The service provided by the loan officer was undeniable pleasant, but unfortunately, the underwriting and document verification process left much to be desired. From the outset, the loan officer (Nina Seng) exuded professionalism and warmth, making me feel at ease with the daunting task of securing a mortgage. She patiently walked me through the various options available, taking the time to understand my financial needs. Her responsiveness and willing ness to address my concerns promptly were commendable, instilling a sense of confidence of her abilities. However, as the process progressed to underwriting and document verification stage, my optimism quickly waned. What should have been a straightforward procedure turned into a frustrating ordeal characterized by delays and miscommunications. The loan processor seems to be absence in the communication, resulting in prolonged wait times for any updates and follow-up requests. Moreover, the stringent verification requirements led to repeated requests for additional documentation, causing unnecessary delays and confusion. Communication breakdowns were a recurring issue throughout this phase, with vital requested information were not clear they had to be re-provided multiple times. Despite my best efforts to provide all necessary document promptly (most of the time within the same day of the requests), there seemed to be a disconnect requires further follow up resulting multiple iteration of request with delay in between, leading to a lack efficiency in the process. While I understand the importance of thorough verification procedures in the mortgage application process, the sheer incompetence and disorganization displayed by the underwriting team were inexcusable. It was disheartening to see the excellent service provided by the loan officer overshadowed by the shortcomings of the back operations.

Cayla Smith was great but before her the communication was terrible. The process took much longer than we were told it would take. It was a pretty frustrating experience overall. Cayla was the only person in the whole experience that was pleasant to deal with.
