Review by Christina Johnson for Cody De'Malavez

Cody and team where great. We ran into some hiccups but they were quick to find a resolution and at the end we closed on time with great terms. They worked after hours, weekends and holidays to get this done and it is much appreciated. Would refer Cody and team to anyone looking to by a home in SWFL.

Review by Daniel Stacer for Jeff Pappenfus

Completed transaction on July 27, 2024

A problem arose one day prior to the scheduled closing date. This would have caused a delay of more than several days which conflicted with our work and travel plans. Jeff worked very hard to ensure that the closing took place on time.

Review by Franklin Hepi Redner for Divah Mosley

Completed transaction on July 26, 2024

Divah Mae Mosley was a very good resource during this mortgage application process. She gave guidance for the overall timeline and steps necessary to secure the loan. She also advised on what I should think about with my purchase agreement with my attorney. She was very communicative and reached out regularly. She was very candid about what I should be doing as a loan applicant and really empathized with the fact that I had to learn the process on my own (I did not use a real estate agent). Stephanie Minjares, the loan processor, while diligent, was not as communicative. There were several instances where she said she would reach out with more information, or other inquiries, but did not follow up. I have several inquiry emails to her that went unanswered. I had to reach out to her frequently to seek information that she offered. That being said, I understand that she was liaising between myself and the underwriter, and that the several round of condition questions were not her choice. Part of NAF's values are "We create a positive and included [sic] culture that fosters open, honest, and meaningful relationships. Diverse perspectives fuel our purpose, deepen our trust with clients and team members, and strengthen our culture." NAF and its underwriters need to brush up on contemporary living arrangements and situations for millennials and gen z. My roommate arrangement and renting situation was not asked about until very late in the game, which caused delays. Rural real estate markets also caused big delays. NAF, according to the appraiser reports, did not seem to understand how slow the market was nor the geographic distance between towns. NAF appeared to question the comparables--they were too far, or sold outside the desired time range. They did not really adjust their lens on the market of towns that have <1000 residents and are spread out. I am happy that the loan was eventually secured. I think the pre-screening process could include more questions on living arrangements and a closer look at the desired market.
