I don’t think the program was properly conveyed to the realtor nor the buyer client as it relates to the lender’s responsibilities. There were several delays, misunderstandings and uncertainties throughout these 2 transactions. Better training and better operational process may greatly improve the next experience in my opinion. Lastly, the time zone difference had a negative impact as well.

Areas of improvements would be receiving more communications on the overall mortgage process including all different loan options available, a deep dive into all metrics and more timely communications during the process on key items prior closing. With a short closing window, a sense of urgency is needed from the lender on key activities to ensure a less stressful process for the borrower which wasn’t necessarily the case for me. Still had a decent experience overall.

Making sure all documents are collected at the same time would have helped. Better communication between loan officers and the main branch.
