The time from original contact to signing was extremely long , poor communication with others working on the refi. I constantly called for updates. It was not what I expected having worked with your company before and had a much better experience .

Overall we were happy with the end result however as first time homebuyers the process was new to us and we felt like communication could have clearer and more proactive. Once we got Russ or someone from his team on the phone they were very helpful but I wish expectations had been set better up front. I don't think it was an intentional oversight, I think perhaps they assumed we understood more than we did. It would not prevent me from working with him again in the future.

I love the way you guys were able to help my family buy our forever home but the only downfall is when I tried to reach out to anyone with questions is wad always a day or two later. I understand you guys are busy but every time someone tries to call we would get no answer do to always being in a meeting. Then you guys called us it seems like 50 times wanting us to resubmit paperwork. We sent 6 or 7 copies of the same documents over and over again. I have referred people to you and will continue to but you guys have to get on the same page and not make it any more stressful to the buyers than it already is.

My experience went great up until the last week. At that point communication plummeted and i felt left in the dark almost completely, guessing to the very last minute if this deal was going to close at all, a shock considering all the way through Damon kept saying it was an easy deal. In the end it worked out, but it took a couple days to recover from the stress.

Getting into the house is always the best part. What it took to get there and and how last minute some of the requested information was extremely difficult and caused for a complete rescheduling of daily priorities. Being in Japan while handling all of this was a major challenge also. It was for a period of time that the responses were immediate. Later on, i was requested to submit things i had already submitted a week or more prior that I already clarified or submitted. Some of which were from mis-typed names or other information. Although the initial stages were going quickly, this held up and seemed to stall information back to the buyer on the status of their loan application.
