Alot of confusion as to whom was the primary person i should interact with/ pose questions to during the process. it would have been much easier to deal with one person directly. there was an instance of an additional charge of $735 to extend the rate lock 7 days. not only was that not disclosed until it occurred, but i felt like there was equal blame for the delays all around (lender, buyer, builder, etc). but in the end, i and my realtor footed the bill; should never have happened that way. lastly, the underwriters, clearing agents, primary agents were asking for documents that they should have already had, including after the closing. Meanwhile, the result for me was waiting around an additional 2 hours after closing (on a Friday afternoon) wondering if i was going to get the keys to my house; incredible and unnecessary stress that made our experience less than exciting.

Errors regarding PA home sale taxes caused a 5k difference in expected closing costs/down payment vs what we actually paid. However, the team was attentive and replied quickly when we had questions.

the loan process was great, but I felt like communication could have been better. examples: I was told if the appriasal came back higher then expected we could talk about pulling about more money, never happened even though my appraisal was 30K+ higher then expected. I said I wanted 10K cash at closing, I was left with 7800, a shortage of 2200 dollars. My old homeowners policy was paid and not the one that was suppose to start after closing and paid by escrow. These lack of communication issues could have been avoided if I was afforded a little more time instead of rushed and treated like another number. that's my only problem with the process. the rest went great .

Amy was great to work with, however I in our initial conversations I was given some bad advice to not pay off some credit cards now, but rather wait until closing. I pestered this a bit with Lindsey, because Amy was out of town and was advised to go ahead and pay them off. Paying them off reduced my interest rate. Had I waited until closing they I would have had a higher interest rate. Amy communicated very timely, and was easy to work with.
