Marcus; on the front end was knowledgeable and was also willing to look into any questions I had that he was not sure of completely. I appreciated the honesty; especially considering he was working from a different state that I reside in. In addition, Marcus has the interpersonal skills that allowed me to trust in the company and what was being offered to me. I would refer people I know to work with him. It got complicated during the step in which Jacqueline became involved as Jacqueline does not possess the best interpersonal/customer services skills. There were steps in your process that I was not aware of in which I felt like Jacqueline assumed I knew or was told and when I would say I was not aware or did not know it felt as though she would get defensive and annoyed. Which I did not appreciate. I understand there being unexpected barriers that surface when going through a refinance. However, if it were not for Marcus reaching back out to me; after experiencing some offensive interactions with Jacqueline, I was honestly ready to walk away. Though Jacqueline's approach softened after Marcus spoke with her; she is definitely not someone I would refer a family member or friend to. Now, I am in the loan fully and have signed off, but I am truly hoping that Marcus (NAF) continues to follow through with keeping tabs on the interest rates and reaching out to me when the market looks good for me to get into a better rate overall. I truly appreciate the assistance given to me by the loan provided as it is giving me a fresh start. I just want to be able to count on NAF to also follow through on the second part of this offer. So, I am hoping to hear back from Marcus within the near future. I would appreciate working with Marcus again and look forward to hearing from him when the time/interest rates are right.
