The experience was better than just OK. Although communication with Mike was timely it was a bit cumbersome and confusing having 3 points of contact at times. We had several errors in the initial paperwork that took repeated attempts on my part to get resolved. I started a refinance on my second home the same day I started with Mutual, the second home refi took 2 weeks this one took 2 months.

The rate was great and I am very happy that we could close on time. The items that I think could be improved: 1. The communications should be in a softer and more respective tone 2. Finding someone that answers my phone or my email sometimes was very difficult 3. Sara Lemoine that at first was appointed as my loan coordinator was not good. She gave me incorrect information and after 2 days she left to a vacation. She should not be appointed or accept a new case when she knew that she will be gone soon. But the second coordinator Ms. Rose was good.

I think our original discussions made me overly optimistic about the timeframe for the closing of the loan. Although he was always polite and responsive, there seemed to be repeated delays and additional documents/ avenues that we needed to pursue. I recognize that this was likely due to increasingly tightened restrictions with the underwriter. However, It wasn't until we got additional people involved that we were able to move forward in a more meaningful way.

Nicole Hairhoger was AMAZING. She was so helpful. She guided us through the whole process. She answered questions whenever we reached out to her. She explained things so we could understand how the whole process would go. She made us feel like she was there to help make our dreams come true. I have no clue who Sandra is. We talked with Henry briefly when we ran into an issue with our disclosure. He was not easy to get ahold of.
