That could have done a lot better job finding out what was actually due in the amounts from my credit report. I had several checks that were they incorrect amounts and one creditors name was spelled wrong on both checks. I sent one check in for payment before realizing the air so I don't know if that will even be accepted, the second check was not even relevant to be paid which they failed to listen to me about. Resulting in about $5,000 that is on accounted for and that I have to send back to the funding company. I assume they will credit my account and they can just take that money and put it towards my next mortgage payments for the next several months.

Our experience was memorable. I would use Mekka Onyenedum and his company again. I would refer my friends and family to him. I would just be sure to make it clear that we need more communication. We need updates throughout. We should be called the day the loan is approved. We didn’t even know until the lawyer’s office called us. I would think a phone call should have been made to say congratulations and thank you for your business. I thought Mekka should have made that call. Therefore, the only negative thing I would say is the lack of communication should be improved. It should be a phone call not a text or email. Like I said in my other comments, Mekka’s friendly personality and professionalism is the reason I chose NAF . Also, he helped me get all the documents I needed to send in. He was very knowledgeable and knew exactly what to tell me to do. After that, I never heard another word from him. After processing got involved, the communication was much better. Maybe that is the way it is supposed to be but someone should have told me. I became very anxious and even thought I had been turned down at some point. I finally got Mekka on the phone and he said to wait, but he still had no answers for me. I think the whole thing was just a misunderstanding. My suggestion would be to keep the client in the loop at all times. If it goes to processing let them know but remain in touch or tell people who they should get in touch with. At least make the client feel more at ease once they have sent all documents in and are just waiting.

Kyle was always very polite, reassuring, and patient in answering my questions; however, we had quite a bit of stress with the loan processor (not Kyle). It was very difficult to reach her and things always felt as if they were happening at the last possible minute. Our real estate agent said he received false information about the status of our loan which eroded trust toward the end of our experience.

The whole process took 50% longer than it was supposed to, there were delays at every corner, and the notary was weird. Most of this is beyond NAF control, so it is what it is.
