I give Russell Doi high marks for helping me go through the process of applying for and getting my reverse mortgage. There were a number of loops to jump through - including when he was told that my insurance agent no longer existed! (My agent of 40 years had just retired and the account was recently taken up by another agent). Russell was very good at walking me through all the steps and reassuring me that all was well. He was great at making himself available by text, email or phone call whenever I might have a question. He responded promptly to any messages from me. I was lucky to have Russell on my side during this process.

If i had to redo the process i wouldn’t have gone through anyone else! He made the process easy and very easy to understand as Firstime Homebuyers.He was always quick on the response with any question we had even when he was out of town! He was serious on trying to help us and wasn’t making us feel stupid for asking all the questions we asked 10/10 recommend!

Mike was great to work with throughout the entire process! We had a unique buying experience that included multiple amendments on our contract, and ultimately a brand new contract for a different house. He would call to check in on our timeline and to keep us up to date regarding rates. When we finally were set to close on a house, he rushed our documents to ensure we could close on time. He also met us at the title company on the day of closing to walk us through our numbers and important documents. He was always available to answer any questions we had and explained things in a way that we could understand. I feel confident that our future experience with Mike and NAF will continue to be positive!

Doug and NAF was recommended to me by my bank because I was doing the First Generation homebuyer program and my bank wasn’t working with the program at the time. Apparently it complicates things compared to just a conventional loan and Doug worked with me and helped me qualify for that as well. Other complications came up as well days before closing and Doug and the team really scrambled to get the deal done and I ended up closing on the scheduled date which I didn’t think was going to happen. At one point I was so discouraged and felt that I can’t provide all the information they needed that I wanted to cancel the whole thing and Doug reached out to me and really helped me and guided me through the rest of the process. I will do business with Doug again and have already recommended to others.

I definitely recommend them. Especially Francheska Ramirez. Francheska is honest, Humble and professional. Her Communication with us was great every step until the end. I will definitely refer them to others.
