Source: This dataset combines data from Public Records and MLS transactions. The data lists the number of all-cash purchases and the total number of home purchases nationwide in 2023. (Cash purchase defined when a Property Sold record does not have a Mortgage Balance.) Data coverage is limited by available MLS coverage. Certain geographies like Georgia (especially Central GA) and Vermont were impacted by this data availability. Land sales and manufactured (MFR) home sales are excluded from the dataset.

"Everything with Kevin went very well. He's very easy to deal with, and sets expectations. Unfortunately after it left Kevin's hands and went to the other departments things started falling apart. We had to initiate almost all of the communication, did not receive updates timely and had delays in funding that were not communicated. The final straw was the payoff checks from the settlement company, instead of checking to see if the checks needed to be made out a certain way they just put names on the checks that will cause delays in everything being paid off timely. I hate to down rate Kevin for this, he was superb, but overall it was just a bad experience."
