 With six years of experience in the mortgage industry, Eric
Bertrand brings a well-rounded perspective to the home financing process. He
began his mortgage career as a loan processor before becoming a Loan Officer,
giving him valuable insight into the lending process from application through
closing. Eric is committed to helping his clients understand their options and
feel confident in their financing decisions. 

Eric is a Certified Divorce Lending Professional (CDLP®),
specializing in mortgage planning for clients navigating divorce and the unique
financial considerations that can come with it. He is also a NIFA Specialist,
helping qualified Nebraska homebuyers explore available financing and down
payment assistance options. 

Originally from San Diego, Eric moved to Nebraska in 2012 and has
called it home ever since. He earned his bachelor’s degree in journalism from
the University of Nebraska in 2015 and went on to earn a master’s degree in
family financial planning in 2021. His background in communication and
financial planning helps him explain mortgage options clearly while keeping
each client’s individual goals in focus. 

Outside of work, Eric enjoys spending time with his wife,
Kimberly, and their two children, Melanie and Noah. When he’s not helping
clients, you can often find him on the golf course or watching football or
baseball.
