John was great to work with. Unfortunately, we haven’t felt the same way about anyone else at NAF. John’s assistant Meredith was unresponsive when we had questions. She frequently sent us documents with incorrect information, and would not correct the info and instead demanded that we sign it even though it was wrong. She would also tell us to call her if we had questions, but would never return our calls and took several days to respond to time-sensitive emails. If I would email her a list of 10 questions, she would half-answer one of them and ignore the rest, every single time we contacted her. We are also continuing to struggle with NAF as a company. We have been sent incorrect documents multiple times. Customer support at NAF won’t give us straight answers - any time something has been wrong, we’ve had to get our insurance company to call on our behalf to get things resolved. Although working with John himself was great, we unfortunately can’t recommend NAF due to the total lack of professional communication from almost everyone else at the company that we engaged with.

I started the process with Steve Pinto, who later left your company. After that I was bounced around between 3 loan officers with very little communication regarding the progress of my refi. Many times I reached out to different people with no response or follow up. Charles did step in and save my business because I had already sent an email withdrawing my application and had another mortgage company working on my refi. The loan process took more than 45 days, and had the underwriter continually asking for letters of explanation which kept delaying the closing of my loan. I feel that since I was an existing customer with 12 months of on time payments that my track record should have spoken for it self. The VP has to step in and override the underwriter just to move my loan into closing. The biggest complaint is the lack of communication between all the loan officers and the loan processor.

They did great for the short time however the amount of extra time taken to get funded when they already had closing cost making us pay for another appraisal when the second one looks almost identical to the first all because they didn’t work with that lender being told we were closing then getting the ball dropped ten minutes later for a new appraisal and the home owners insurance is still asking for money that was supposed to be paid at closing

Last couple of weeks, all the questions felt like a full time job, and took time away from my actual work. Otherwise all people I worked with were awesome.
