About Kim A. Mello

About Kim
Clients always come first. This is the golden rule that Kim Mello has followed ever since she became a loan officer over 20 years ago.
Throughout the years, she has helped countless families with their financial goals and needs.
With repeat borrowers and referrals always emailing and calling, she’s built a loyal network that knows she’ll get the job done quickly, efficiently and with a personal flair. No matter how busy she is, Kim always makes the time to respond to her clients and partners right away when they need assistance.
The past year was an eventful one for Kim. In January 2020, she joined the Danvers branch of Draper and Kramer Mortgage as a vice president of residential lending, and she closed over $78 million in loans for the year, easily qualifying for the company’s President’s
Club for top-producing loan officers. Driving her motivation was the opportunity for families to find and finance their forever homes. “Although I’ve been in the mortgage industry for over 20 years, I was able to connect with my customers quickly and efficiently and serve more families than ever before,” she says.
When Kim isn’t working, she’s enjoying life in Nahant. She owns a home on the water, where she raised her two sons, who are now in their 20s. She is also a proud supporter of Boston’s Wounded Vet Run, an organization that funds
housing modifications and addresses other needs to improve the quality of life of disabled veterans.
Over the next few years, Kim plans to continue her upward momentum and help many more families with their home financing. “I’d love to keep building and working with my team to provide the great service and programs my clients deserve,” she says.

Pathway to HomeOwnership

Are you Ready?

At New American Funding, we believe that every person deserves a clear path to achieving their dream of homeownership. So, we created the Pathway to Homeownership initiative to alleviate some of your financial worries.

What is the Pathway to

Homeownership Initiative?

The Pathway to Homeownership offers qualified borrowers in select areas up to $8,000 in assistance. These funds are not a loan that needs to be repaid and are available to first-time homebuyers in designated areas.

This program can also potentially be combined with other down payment assistance programs to offer you even more support as you build the life of your dreams.

NAF Cash Can Turn You into a Cash Buyer

Interact with our map to track cash
Purchase trends across the country

With NAF Cash, you can make a competitive, true cash offer that is not contingent on financing and close in little as seven days without having to sell your current home first.

Source: This dataset combines data from Public Records and MLS transactions. The data lists the number of all-cash purchases and the total number of home purchases nationwide in 2023. (Cash purchase defined when a Property Sold record does not have a Mortgage Balance.) Data coverage is limited by available MLS coverage. Certain geographies like Georgia (especially Central GA) and Vermont were impacted by this data availability. Land sales and manufactured (MFR) home sales are excluded from the dataset.

Loan Products

Every story of home buying is unique, we offer a variety of loans to meet our clients' needs.

"I reached out to Kim via email late on a Friday afternoon on the recommendation from a friend. I wasn't expecting to hear back until Monday. To my pleasant surprise, I was contacted via email that evening and received several replies back to questions I had. Over the course of the weekend and that first week there were many emails and phone calls. We felt comfortable enough to proceed. From first contact to refinance closing was 17 days! Excellent service and speedy too!"
