"This was my second transaction with NAF. The first was a refinance of our previous home, with a different loan officer- a sterling experience. So when we sold that home and were looking to buy another, we once again turned to NAF and were assigned to Wesley. Based upon my second experience I feel exactly the same as before. Very personalized solutions, awesome communication, very responsive, willing to dig into issues and provide the answers. I started out with the intent of writing a 5 star review, which would besides being laudatory would be helpful to subsequent customers. I went in and read the reviews that were NOT 5 stars and tried to see what pitfalls if any, could be avoided. 1. Document Prep: Having all financial information available that is accurate, up todate and updated if need be at the time loan is submitted to underwriting, makes the process faster and smoother. 2. Stay on top of the communication, you are one of many loans being processed simultaneously, a short call every few days whether it is with the loan officer, or the document processor keeps things moving. 3. Finally there are guidelines and rules laid out to prevent money laundering, tax evasion etc. which lenders have to comply with. A lot of things I was asked to provide or fulfill were on account of that, to my mind I had two choices, execute as directed or shop elsewhere, guess what- I complied!
