Terry, through his educational background and over 40 years of top performing management and sales experience brings broad-based business expertise, in-depth knowledge and exceptional decision making and negotiating skills to his position as a Licensed Mortgage Loan Consultant with New American Funding. Terry has over 17 years’ experience in the mortgage and real estate related fields. He currently holds a Mortgage Loan Originator license (NLMS #177494) as well as a Texas Real Estate Commission REALTOR® license. (TREC® license # 800942)

 As an accomplished professional with award-winning experience, he provides the leadership, organizational, analytical, evaluative prowess and motivation necessary to ensure that he helps his clients find the home loan solution that is best for them based on their personal and financial goals.

 About Terry Personal…

Born in Beaumont, Terry is a native Texan and has always lived in Texas. As a small child Terry’s parents moved to the Metroplex and eventually settled in Garland. Terry got his primary education through the Garland school system, graduating from Garland High School. While in high school Terry was involved in a number of leadership activities and served as the president of the Garland Chapter of the Future Farmers of America where he received numerous awards. He raised both Angus and Charolais cattle winning Reserve Grand Champion and Grand Champion. Following high school Terry attended both Richland College and The University of Texas at Dallas. 

Terry has a diverse background of experience first serving as the manager of an antique warehouse importing antique furniture of England, Belgium, Denmark and France. This allowed Terry to travel internationally to England for purchasing of antiques for resale. He then was in the Oil and Gas business ultimately serving as founder and president of his own oil and gas development company, drilling numerous oil and gas wells in northwest Texas and West Virginia.Terry subsequently went into the automotive industry serving as a manager for a number of years.

The last 16 plus years Terry has been in the mortgage and real estate area. After college, Terry married his wife Sandra and they moved to Plano Texas where they still reside. They have two children, Matthew and Stefanie and have a grandchild. 

As a result of this background, Terry has an extensive knowledge of North Texas and has a proven track record of award-winning customer service.
