About Greg Hinkle, CDLP®

With a mission to help families create and retain generational wealth through the financing of real estate, I bring over 25 years of experience to the table. My journey in the mortgage industry began in 1997, and I am proud to be licensed in Montana, Oregon, and Washington.

My connection to the industry runs deep, as my father's family migrated from Eastern Montana during the Great Depression, eventually settling in Oregon where they worked in the timber industry. This background instilled in me a strong work ethic and a deep appreciation for the value of property and land.

In addition to my role as a Mortgage Professional, I am also a Real Estate Continuing Education (CE) instructor. This role allows me to share my knowledge and experience with others in the industry, helping them stay informed and up-to-date in this ever-evolving field.

One of my most rewarding roles is serving as a Certified Divorce Lending Specialist (CDLP). In this capacity, I act as a financial neutral, assisting divorcing clients during negotiation and mediation. My goal is to help them navigate the complexities of real estate financing, ensuring they can retain family wealth and both spouses can be financially successful post-divorce.

One of the highlights of my career is the joy of calling a first-time home buyer to tell them their loan has funded and they are now proud homeowners. It's a moment that never fails to bring me immense satisfaction and reminds me why I do what I do.

Outside of the office, you'll often find me engaged in church activities, exploring the great outdoors through hiking, fishing, hunting, skiing, or horseback riding. I have a deep love for rodeos and baseball, and nothing brings me greater joy than spending time with my wife, children, and grandchildren.

Are you Ready?

At New American Funding, we believe that every person deserves a clear path to achieving their dream of homeownership. So, we created the Pathway to Homeownership initiative to alleviate some of your financial worries.

What is the Pathway to

Homeownership Initiative?

The Pathway to Homeownership offers qualified borrowers in select areas up to $8,000 in assistance. These funds are not a loan that needs to be repaid and are available to first-time homebuyers in designated areas.

This program can also potentially be combined with other down payment assistance programs to offer you even more support as you build the life of your dreams.

NAF Cash Can Turn You into a Cash Buyer

Interact with our map to track cash
Purchase trends across the country

With NAF Cash, you can make a competitive, true cash offer that is not contingent on financing and close in little as seven days without having to sell your current home first.

Source: This dataset combines data from Public Records and MLS transactions. The data lists the number of all-cash purchases and the total number of home purchases nationwide in 2023. (Cash purchase defined when a Property Sold record does not have a Mortgage Balance.) Data coverage is limited by available MLS coverage. Certain geographies like Georgia (especially Central GA) and Vermont were impacted by this data availability. Land sales and manufactured (MFR) home sales are excluded from the dataset.

Loan Products

Every story of home buying is unique, we offer a variety of loans to meet our clients' needs.
