"I had several issues with taxes, debt, and credit and was worried the loan would not close but Mark assured me that it would assume I almost decided to not go through with the refi-cash-out but I'm really glad I did and Mark took extra time to go over these issues as they arose to assure me they wouldn't be a problem and turns out he was right. He was very knowledgeable and very professional along the entire process."

"The checks from Empower Settlement Services, LLC to several companies I am closing accounts with were meant to be wires or direct transfers (Account and routing numbers were requested). Instead, I was sent checks by mail which I now have to mail out, which of course will cost postal fees and more time (interest accrual). If wires or direct payments were not possible, it would have been much easier to finalize this business had the amounts simply been deposited into my account, where I could have transferred as necessary. Now I have to look up mailing addresses and or call to figure out how to make the payments via paper check which many companies would rather have direct, fast electronic payments. We finally completed the loan process only to run into frustration at the end."
