About Rick Wegmann
Hi, I’m Rick Wegmann, a Texas-based Loan Officer with New American Funding and the proud leader of The Wegmann Team. My mission is simple: make the mortgage process stress-free, straightforward, and even a little fun.
I specialize in helping families and investors finance everything from first homes to dream homes, whether that means a land loan, a one-time close construction loan, or a traditional purchase or refinance. With years of experience and access to a wide range of loan products, I’m passionate about finding creative solutions that fit each client’s unique goals.
But more than the numbers, I believe in relationships. My wife, Courtney, and I work side by side as licensed originators, making sure every client feels informed, cared for, and confident from start to finish. We see our clients as family, and nothing makes us happier than helping them plant roots or take the next big step in life.
When I’m not crunching numbers or structuring loans, you’ll find me spending time with my two daughters, Haley and Ireland, or creating mortgage education content on social media to make home financing less intimidating and more accessible.
