About Carlyn Parker

My name is Carlyn Parker, and I am proud to work with the community on behalf of New American Funding as a highly-skilled Mortgage Lender bringing a bunch of knowledge with me on multiple loan products!

I have been in the industry for over a decade. I was raised in a family for more than 25 years with a Real Estate background. Not only did I have a dream to be a respected, preferred mortgage lender, I also wanted to understand it all in learning both sides of the home buying process. 
 So, with that said-I decided to take the time one summer to study and get a license as a real estate agent as well,  for the extra knowledge learned in the courses to better serve my home buyers as their lender. 
  Not only did I want to be a mortgage lender, I wanted to be the best  lender that I possibly could.
Since then, I have helped hundreds of people successfully get into homes of their own.
 People that were ready to buy and people had a dream to make it a reality in their future.  Together we did the foot work and we did make that reality. I love helping every one no matter where they are at!

 One of my jobs is to help my home buyers understand the home buying process.
  Another is to help real Estate Agents, be successful and to under stand the pre-approval process and the pre-home buying process as well. 
 Together we are a team! 

Getting pre-approved before searching for a home gives you the confidence as a buyer that you're searching for the correct price point that you are approved for!
 Having a pre-approval letter from your lender also gives your Realtor the confidence in which they are taking the time out of their day to show you homes in a range that you are actually qualified to purchase at! 
 Not only that,  but when it's time for you to write an offer with your agent on the home of your dreams- Providing a pre-approval letter with that offer to the seller gives a seller the confidence that you are a serious buyer that has already reached out for approved financing! This makes your offer much stronger and can possibly put your offer above others.

 Having me as your loan officer in addition gives you someone working on your behalf outside normal business hours with a very flexible schedule!

(Cash purchase defined when a Property Sold record does not have a Mortgage Balance.) Data coverage is limited by available MLS coverage. Certain geographies like Georgia (especially Central GA) and Vermont were impacted by this data availability. Land sales and manufactured (MFR) home sales are excluded from the dataset.
