I sometimes face discrimination and worry if I am enough although I have made much preparation to be in a buying position. Two other lenders were less responsive but I could immediately see when I was presented with a 4.5 interest rate that the loan Officer actually worked to find a good rate. Flyhomes mortgage wanted 5k to lock in.a 5+% rate with Wells Fargo. I felt encouraged and supported but also warned of potential challenges throughout the process. The service and consistency exceeded all the other companies I sought quotes from, and exceeded all expectation. I'm so happy with the service and also the terms of the loan with no prepayment penalty. Very thankful for the support and the opportunity to become a home owner. It wasn't easy but the process was transparent and fair. My life has been changed with all the help I received from New American. I feel renewed and further welcomed as a citizen in my country of birth. I feel like a New American.
